The Rhode Island Section of the ASCE has been supporting engineering practice, education, and policy-making across the state for nearly 100 years by:

  • Hosting statewide networking events.

  • Awarding over $2,000 in annual scholarships to outstanding Rhode Island engineering students.

  • Organizing outreach events to help inspire the next generation of civil engineers.

  • Advocating for effective policy at the state and local level.

One key takeaway: Rhode Island came in last in nation for rate of structurally deficient bridges. Read the full 2017 Report
